Job Description

First and foremost as the Assistant Venue Manager you will be responsible for driving and maintaining high standards of service. You will be the face of the business, making sure guests receive the best possible care and attention whilst at the same time increasing sales and revenue.
In return, you will be given the chance to learn what it takes to run a successful business. You will be coached and mentored on how to manage labour and COGS effectively, read and analyse profit and loss accounts, compare sales data and identify strategies to make improvements. You will be given the tools you need to manage teams of people effectively, hold them accountable and get them to do what you want them to without damaging your relationship with them.

Candidate Profile

To be successful in this role you will have:
  • Experience in a similar role within a fast-paced, food and beverage driven venue
  • Strong supervisory skills and the ability to lead a team
  • High-level customer service within a casual, volume environment
  • A strong work ethic with a hands-on approach 
  • Exposure to opening a new venue will be viewed positively
