Job Description

As Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will work closely with the General Manager to oversee the operations of a sophisticated bistro in the heart of Sydney’s CBD. Your focus will be on front-of-house team development, service execution, and contributing to the ongoing success of the venue. This is a leadership role ideal for someone ready to grow into a General Manager position within a high-performance environment.
  • Lead, train, and mentor a dedicated front-of-house team
  • Support daily operations with a focus on guest satisfaction and service consistency
  • Collaborate on systems, team development, and operational improvements
  • Uphold the venue’s high standards in service, presentation, and professionalism
  • Act as a key support to the GM across financial, staffing, and service areas
Candidate Profile

You are a dynamic front-of-house professional with a strong leadership presence and a passion for delivering elevated service. You are hands-on, calm under pressure, and motivated to progress within a sophisticated hospitality group.
  • Proven experience in a premium or high-end dining venue
  • Strong team leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to drive service standards and team culture
  • Interest in food, wine, and produce-led dining
  • Ambition to grow into a Restaurant General Manager role
