An exciting opportunity based in Sydney that will see the right candidate manage a diverse portfolio of businesses in the hospitality sector. The role will see you collaborating with the operational leaders across multiple properties to ensure the commercial success of new activities as well as driving profitability at every touchpoint. Through analysis, reporting, and clear communication you will help enhance guest experience while delivering a great bottom-line result.
Candidate Profile
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Collaborate closely with General Managers, Department Managers, and Owners, providing constant business support and leveraging dashboards to drive operational finance and commercial success.
- Offer sound business advice, conduct break-even analysis, and contribute to decision-making for proposed business activities.
- Coach and develop finance and business support staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Participate in financial planning and analysis activities, including budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly operational reporting, including revenue and F&B tracker reporting, revenue forecasting, and payroll reporting.
- Develop, implement, and administer purchasing, stores, and accounts payable procedures.
- Encourage a commercial approach to deliver optimal financial, operational, and employer-of-choice outcomes for the hotel/s.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and coaching abilities.
- Familiarity with financial planning, analysis, and reporting tools
