With the end of first quarter of FY20 approaching, hospitality recruitment specialists, Hastings is reporting exceptional growth in its Executive arm.


The consultancy has already placed two CEO roles plus a COO position in major national hospitality operations. Hastings has also successfully placed a number of senior management and culinary positions this quarter. “The market is clearly moving in a very positive direction, despite economic growth reports,” said Hasting Managing Director Luke Butler. “Top candidates are attracting very competitive remuneration packages and our clients are continuing to invest in them. We are delighted to have a prominent place at the table in this thriving market.”


Hastings report that a number of premium clients are demonstrating their commitment by entering retained partnerships with Hastings, illustrating the desire to uncover market-best talent in a short market. “They’re looking to secure the best possible results from the recruitment process and retained assignments are the way to go,” said Luke Butler.


“Our continued involvement in the executive talent market has also outlined the challenges faced by senior leaders looking for growth opportunities. This is one of the key drivers behind our expansion into Asia via our newly established outpost in Singapore.”
