Last week some of the Hastings People team attended The Australasian Hotel Industry Conference and Exhibition (AHICE), hosted at Grand Hyatt Melbourne. AHICE is an informative and creative event hosted annually. Themed ‘People, Product and Performance in a period of Unprecedented Growth’ for 2019. The event drew a crowd of over 850 owners, hoteliers, suppliers and leading consultants and offered some considered industry insights.

Our Managing Director Luke Butler participated in a panel discussion on ‘Hotel Food and Beverage Trends for 2019 you need to know’, along with other leaders in hospitality including Alison Hulm, Dave Galvin, Adam Petta and Vincent Lombino. A major takeaway from the event was that the hospitality industry is experiencing unprecedented growth with all sectors of hospitality continuing to demonstrate elevation.
