Hastings People are proud to announce we have been retained to work with House Made Hospitality and Accor on the re-launch of the prestigious Sofitel Wentworth, House Made Hospitality, in partnership with Accor, is set to launch four new venues at the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth’s Bligh Street precinct in the CBD. With two recognised leaders in their field combining to reinvigorate the grand dame of Sydney’s luxury hotel market, this is one of the most highly anticipated openings of the year.
  
The expansion includes two bars and two restaurants, offering innovative experiences such as an Australian seafood grill and a French-Vietnamese eatery. These venues promise unique concepts, stunning interiors, and the exceptional service House Made Hospitality is known for.
  
Job Description

As Restaurant Manager you will be responsible for driving operations teams to execute with the highest standards across service, product and commercial outcomes. 

Opening a stunning new restaurant, developing the team and creating a premium dining experience in the newly renovated 5-star hotel. With a focus on continued improvement and product evolution, you will utilise your premium service background to educate and improve those working around you, elevating the customer experience in the process and developing your team for growth and advancement.

It is a true senior leadership opportunity, working closely with a passionate and dedicated team of professionals who have successfully made their way in the Sydney dining scene.

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate must possess;

  • Extensive experience in premium dining environments without exception.
  • Expert knowledge of food & beverage trends, industry standards, and best practices.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to deliver exceptional results.
  • Strong financial acumen, with the ability to analyse data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • A passion for creating memorable guest experiences through exceptional food & beverage offerings.
  • A love of mentorship, staff development and being the champion of company culture.
