Job Description 
 
As a key part of the brigade, you will be responsible for driving the restaurant operations and assisting in managing the other outlets. This a true leadership role, leading the team in and out of service, upholding the company’s focus on quality and sustainability.

The business is continually evolving to ensure it remains a destination for local and destination diners for years to come, you will be pivotal in this process.

In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient running of the kitchen across service, cost control and all aspects of day-to-day operations. You will work with the existing team to ensure peak performance across general trade and the busy functions season.
 
The culinary offering will have a focus on local produce, sustainability and modern Japanese cuisine. As the leader of the culinary program, you will work closely with the General Manager to continue the already stellar performance of the venue.
   
Candidate Profile  
 
To be successful in this role you will have: 
  • Experience as Senior Chef within a premium dining venue
  • Strong knowledge of Japanese cuisine and flavours
  • Impressive 'foodie' knowledge- technical cooking - yet served in an uncomplicated way
