Job Description
The Venue Manager will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operation of a premium rooftop bar, ensuring strong service standards, team performance, guest experience and commercial outcomes.
This role requires a hands-on leader with genuine floor presence, strong beverage knowledge and the ability to manage the energy of the room. You will oversee bar service, table service, team culture, operational execution and third-party relationships while ensuring the venue delivers a polished and memorable experience every service.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead venue operations across bar service, table service and guest experience
- Drive beverage sales, service standards, atmosphere and floor performance
- Manage rosters, labour, team development and weekly commercial outcomes
- Work closely with external partners across cocktails, entertainment and food
- Control the pace, energy, lighting, volume and flow of the venue
You are an experienced Venue Manager or senior hospitality leader with a background in premium bars, rooftop venues, hotel bars, cocktail bars, entertainment-led venues or high-volume hospitality environments.
You are polished, energetic and commercially minded, with the ability to lead from the floor and create atmosphere without losing control of service standards or financial performance.
You will bring:
- Strong beverage knowledge across cocktails, wine, beer and premium bar service
- Experience managing high-volume hospitality environments
- Confidence leading teams from the floor in fast-paced venues
- Experience working with DJs, live entertainment or atmosphere-led concepts
- Strong commercial discipline across labour, rosters, sales and service outcomes
