Job Description
An opportunity exists for an experienced Venue Manager to lead one of the group's flagship venues in Port Melbourne. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who thrives in premium, service-led hospitality and is passionate about building high-performing teams.
You will oversee the day-to-day operations of a busy restaurant environment, ensuring every guest enjoys a seamless dining experience while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement. Working closely with senior leadership, you will play a key role in developing your team, driving operational excellence and maintaining the warm, welcoming atmosphere the venue is known for.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead, mentor and develop a large front of house team
- Champion exceptional service standards and consistently deliver outstanding guest experiences
- Create an inclusive, positive workplace culture where people are motivated to succeed
- Oversee financial performance, rostering, labour management and operational compliance
- Build lasting relationships with guests and contribute to the continued success of the venue
Candidate Profile
You are an experienced hospitality leader who understands that outstanding restaurants are built through exceptional people. You lead with authenticity, invest in your team's development and set the standard through your presence on the floor.You will bring:
- Previous experience leading high-volume, quality-focused restaurant or hospitality venues
- A genuine passion for guest experience and premium service delivery
- A proven ability to coach, mentor and develop engaged, high-performing teams
- Strong commercial acumen and experience managing venue performance
- An inclusive leadership style with outstanding communication and relationship-building skills
