Job Description

Store Manager, High Energy Restaurant, Central Melbourne

Short Description
Bring the energy, lead from the front and build an outstanding team in one of Melbourne's busiest hospitality precincts.

Key Highlights

  • Lead a high-energy restaurant and a passionate frontline team

  • People-first culture with serious investment in training and development

  • Genuine career pathways within a successful national hospitality business

Client Profile

Our client is a well-established restaurant group with a strong Australian presence and a culture built around great people, great food and memorable customer experiences. Their restaurants are energetic, fast-paced and full of personality, with a strong emphasis on developing leaders from within and giving their teams the opportunity to grow.

Job Description

This is not a role for a manager who wants to lead from the office. As Store Manager, you will be highly visible on the floor, setting the pace, building the culture and creating an environment where your team can perform at their best.

You will take ownership of a busy central Melbourne restaurant, balancing people leadership with strong commercial and operational performance.

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading, coaching and developing a diverse, high-energy restaurant team

  • Creating an engaging team culture where people enjoy coming to work

  • Delivering consistently excellent food, service and customer experiences

  • Taking ownership of sales, labour, rostering, stock, costs and restaurant performance

  • Maintaining exceptional standards across food safety, compliance and workplace safety

Candidate Profile

You will be a natural people leader who brings energy to the floor and understands that great restaurant results start with a great team. You might currently be managing a busy restaurant or be a strong Assistant Manager ready to take ownership of your own operation.

You will bring:

  • Leadership experience within restaurants, QSR, fast casual or high-volume hospitality

  • A genuine passion for coaching, developing and recognising people

  • The ability to build culture while maintaining clear standards and accountability

  • Strong commercial awareness and confidence working with operational KPIs

  • A hands-on, energetic leadership style suited to a busy restaurant environment

Offer

This is an opportunity to join a people-focused hospitality business where personality is encouraged and career development is taken seriously. You will receive structured training, strong operational support and genuine opportunities to progress as the business continues to develop its leadership talent.
