Job Description 
The State Operations Manager will take ownership of overall performance across multiple venues within the state, ensuring alignment to business goals, culture and operational standards. This role is responsible for leading, mentoring and developing Area Leaders and Venue Leaders while driving consistent execution across all locations. 

  • Lead, coach and support Area and Venue Leaders to achieve operational and financial targets  
  • Oversee end-to-end people processes including recruitment, onboarding, development and performance management  
  • Manage and improve key metrics including labour, COGS and overall profitability  
  • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and relevant awards  
  • Drive consistency through structured reporting, regular site engagement and leadership forums  

Candidate Profile 
You are an experienced multi-site operator with a strong track record in hospitality or retail environments. You bring a balanced approach of commercial acumen and people leadership, with the ability to inspire teams and deliver results at scale. 

  • Proven experience managing multi-site operations with full P&L accountability  
  • Strong leadership capability with a focus on coaching and development  
  • Solid understanding of labour management, cost control and compliance  
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills  
  • Passion for creating positive team cultures and high-performing environments
