Our client is one of Noosa's busiest and best operators. With absolute beach frontage right on Hastings Street, this venue offers a contemporary, seasonal menu that will provide you with access to some of Australia's most exciting producers. They also offer their staff the perfect blend of a busy, buzzy work environment, alongside a great Noosa lifestyle. Straight shifts only, a 9-day fortnight, and local accommodation available. The perfect combination for those looking at making the break away from the city, and ready to start their sea-change in one of the countries idyllic locations - Noosa.

Job Description 
 
As one of the leaders of the kitchen team, you will work alongside the Head Chef to drive the kitchen team and the creative offer of this busy, 7 day a week, breakfast, lunch and dinner venue. You will help develop and training the kitchen brigade in all areas of food production, and work with new and exciting products from local farmers, butchers, fishmongers and providores.

The Sous Chef will be required to work an average of 40 - 45 hours a week. This role is for mainly nights - with just straight shifts. The venue also offers a 9-day fortnight.

Local, shared accommodation is also available close to the venue.
 
Candidate Profile  
 
To be successful in this role you will have: 
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a Chef de Partie 
  • Experience as a Senior Chef for a busy venue 
  • High food standards in both taste and presentation 
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment 
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills 
  • Team-player skills and lead by example 
Offer 
 
This role is offering a very strong remuneration package based on 40 - 45 hours a week, with an excellent base salary for the right candidate. The remuneration will reflect your skills and the level of experience you can bring to the kitchen team.
