Situated in a stunning waterfront location our client is a well established business just north of Brisbane. Offering an all day dining menu they enjoy a loyal and busy trade from their regulars. Following a record breaking summer period for the venue, they are now looking to regroup and work on fine tuning their already successful offering. With a young and innovative Head Chef at the helm, they are on the hunt for an equally dynamic and ambitious sous chef to join the brigade and help steer this venue into it's newest era of success.
In this role you'll work closely with the newly appointed Head Chef. You'll be key in the training and development of a tight-knit brigade as well as a large amount of creative input towards menu development. The ability to work quickly and efficiently in a high paced environment will be essential.
To be successful in this role, you'll display the following
- Minimum two years experience in a Junior Sous role or above
- Proven success in the management of brigade (including rostering)
- Previous exposure to budget management
- Above all, a passion for all things hospitality related.
