The organisation is starting to look at interstate sites and focus on an expansion plan as they continue to offer a fresh and clean alternative to standard fare.
Job Description
As Sous Chef you will;
- Have experience as a chef and a hands-on leader who can influence a positive workplace culture
- Oversee all day to day back of house operations including opening & closing the restaurant
- Complete regular stocktakes and food safety checks
- Assist in meeting kitchen labour costs, cost of food and other expenses
- Implement processes and standards to ensure all back-of-house operations run effectively and seamlessly
- Induct and train junior kitchen staff
- Ensure the kitchen meets all Work, Health & Safety regulations
To be successful in this role you will have;
- At least 3 years of management experience in a fast-paced environment
- High food preparation standards and productivity
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure and with professionalism
- Great personal presentation, good communication and time management skills
- Ability to lead and develop a large team
