About the Role:
As a senior member of the team, you will work alongside a dynamic group of award-winning managers and chefs. In the role of Assistant Head Sommelier, you will take ownership of key responsibilities including stock control, staff wine training, and supporting team development, all while delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Drawing on your premium service background, you will help elevate the standard of service through mentorship and education. This is a forward-thinking role with a focus on continuous improvement and service innovation.
Candidate Profile:
To be successful in this role you will be able to display the following;
- Experience as a Sommelier in a premium restaurant
- Strong operational knowledge that is shared to inspire the team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with professionalism
- Great personal presentation, good communication and time management skills
- Hands-on leader who has the ability to influence a positive workplace culture
- Implement processes and standards to ensure all front-of-house operations run effectively and seamlessly
- Ensure the customer service is of the highest standard
- Build a strong rapport with all guests and clients
This role is based in Brisbane, offering a very strong remuneration package comprised of an excellent base salary plus superannuation.
