Job Description
Working closely with the sales and venue teams, this role will be responsible for the following:
- Building business relationships to creatively secure a successful client base
- Promoting function and event spaces through a wide range of channels including on-site sales calls, site visits, events, telephone, and written communication
- Developing and maintaining relationships with both internal and external stakeholders including but not limited to venue management teams, employees, suppliers, industry leaders and peers
- Management of function software platforms
- Completing administrative tasks as required, including invoicing and processing client payments
To be considered for this role you will have:
- 2 years experience in sales and/or events
- Experience in hospitality is essential for the role
- A confident, vibrant and empathetic personality
- Strong communication skills
- A proactive approach to identifying and generating sales that lead to business development opportunities
- The ability to excel under pressure and work to tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and organisation skills
- The ability to work both in a team and autonomously
- A love of the hospitality industry, customer service and events
- Enthusiastic approach to meeting agreed KPIs and event sales targets
The remuneration for this role is dependent on the candidate's experience.
