They pride themselves on providing training, opportunity, and career development for their people – many of whom have been there for years and have progressed through venue management on to senior operations roles. While providing amazing food and beverage experiences in high volume environments, they strive for exceptional customer service that appeals directly to each venue's broad and often local demographic, and succeed. 

Job Description

This is a true leadership role, requiring you to set the culture for this prominent CBD venue. This group strives to be the best in all aspects of its operation, delivering a positive, inclusive and welcoming culture for colleagues and customers alike. First and foremost, you will be responsible for the performance of the team including hiring, training and developing them, driving their performance and standards and giving them the tools to succeed. The ability to manage people appropriately is essential to success in this role.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate for this position will have:
  • A hands-on approach to delivering true customer centric service
  • Experience in managing a high end, casual dining venue
  • A record of building and managing high performing teams, both front of house and back of house
  • Experience managing labour and general costs of the venue including stock management and wastage 
  • A natural leadership style and an understanding of the importance of chemistry between the staff and the customers
  • Some marketing and local engagement experience or exposure
