Job Description
As Restaurant General Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the venue's opening and ongoing operations. Working closely with senior leadership, you will establish service standards, recruit and develop the team, and create an exceptional guest experience that reflects the vision of the business. This role offers genuine ownership and the opportunity to make a lasting impact on a flagship opening.
Key responsibilities include:

Leading the pre-opening and launch phase of the venue

Recruiting, training and developing a high-performing front-of-house team

Driving service excellence and creating memorable guest experiences

Managing financial performance, labour costs and operational efficiencies

Building a positive, engaged and accountable team culture
Candidate Profile
You are a proven hospitality leader who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys building teams and systems from the ground up. You bring a hands-on leadership style, strong commercial acumen and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional hospitality.
You will demonstrate:

Previous experience as a Restaurant General Manager or Venue Manager in premium hospitality environments

Strong understanding of financial management, rostering and operational controls

Experience opening venues or leading significant business transitions is highly regarded

Outstanding people leadership and coaching capability

A passion for creating exceptional guest experiences and team cultures
