With creative control and access to the best of the Sunshine Coast's produce, the Head chef will work to make this Pub menu one to be noticed.
This is a leadership role requiring you to drive the food culture for this iconic Queensland venue. As Head Chef you will lead the team in delivering a local-based, delicious menu using fresh, quality ingredients while maintaining a strong focus on variable cost controls. Furthermore, you will be responsible for hiring, training and developing your team to ensure their ability to succeed.
Candidate Profile
To be considered for this role you will have:
• Experience as a Head Chef within a high-volume establishment
• Creative flair and passion for working with local produce
• A positive and solutions-focused approach with the desire to build a great team and develop career progression
• An open communication style with the ability to inspire others
• Exemplary management skills and the ability to work autonomously
• The aptitude to build a creative team that is focused on process and product
• Strong financial acumen relevant to labour and cost control
• Full unrestricted working rights in Australia
