The business is committed to developing its people and offers outstanding opportunities for career advancement across its expanding portfolio.

Job Description

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Head Chef to take ownership of an elevated pub kitchen servicing multiple dining spaces and events operation. Delivering an elevated bistro offering centred around quality produce and refined pub classics, you will be responsible for setting the culinary standard across the venue while driving kitchen performance, mentoring your team and achieving strong commercial outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensure full compliance with food safety, HACCP and workplace health and safety standards.

Candidate Profile

You are an experienced Head Chef or an ambitious Senior Sous Chef ready to step into your first Head Chef role. You have built your career within premium pubs, hotels or quality casual dining venues and are recognised for your leadership, operational expertise and commitment to producing exceptional food.

You will bring:

  • Proven leadership experience managing high-performing kitchen teams.
  • Experience delivering elevated pub or modern Australian cuisine using quality seasonal produce.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience managing food costs, labour and kitchen performance.
  • A genuine passion for mentoring and developing hospitality professionals.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining exceptional culinary standards.
  • Full Australian working rights, or eligibility for employer sponsorship for exceptional candidates.

Offer

This role offers a competitive salary package commensurate with experience, sustainable working hours averaging 40–45 hours per week, and the opportunity to join a highly regarded hospitality group with a clear pathway into broader culinary leadership opportunities. You will be supported by experienced operational and culinary leaders while leading one of Sydney CBD's premier premium pub venues.
