Job Description

This is a true leadership role, requiring you to drive the food culture for this prominent CBD venue. This group strives to be the best in all aspects of its operation, delivering a positive, inclusive and welcoming culture for colleagues and customers alike.
  
You will also be responsible for delivering a high quality food and all day dining experience while maintaining a strong focus cost controls across the venue - so a strong understanding of the financial aspects of running successful, high volume kitchen operations will be highly beneficial.

You will also be responsible for the performance of your own team including hiring, training and developing them, driving their performance and standards and giving them the tools to succeed. The ability to manage people appropriately is essential to success in this role.

Candidate Profile

To be considered for this role you will have;

• Experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef within a high-volume establishment
• A positive and solutions-focused approach with the desire to build a great team and offer career progression
• An open communication style with the ability to inspire those working around you
• Ability to build a creative team that is focused on process and product
• Strong financial acumen focussing on labour and food cost control
• Ability to review operational performance and make improvements
• A structured and organised approach to managing multiple tasks simultaneously
• Full unrestricted working rights in Australia
