The popularity of their venues has driven significant volume that is expected to remain well into the future. The procurement of a 5 star Boutique Hotel has solidified their plans for offering, creating a unique opportunity for a chef who wishes to remain at the top of the market. Their incredible property spans multiple spaces, each designed to deliver the new standard in events for their discerning clientele.
  
Job Description

This is not a typical events space and in this role, you will be challenged to deliver the best, most creative food the market has seen.

We are not seeking a traditional events chef. We want to speak with the new breed; people who challenge the perceptions around the quality that is possible in large scale eventing.

As a key part of the brigade, you will be responsible for driving the banqueting operations and will lead the team in and out of service, upholding the company’s focus on quality and sustainability. The business is continually evolving to ensure it remains a destination for local and destination diners for years to come, you will be pivotal in this process.

Candidate Profile

To be considered for this role you will have;
  • Creativity around menu development and food presentation within events
  • Experience executing events for up to 1500 people both sit-down and stand-up
  • The ability to build a team that is focused on process and product
  • Strong financial acumen relevant to labour and cost control
  • A highly structured and organised approach, managing multiple tasks simultaneously
Offer

This role is offering a strong remuneration package ranging beyond $100,000 plus super for the right candidate.
