Job Description

Reporting to the General Manager – Finance & Business Services, this role will lead the group's stocktaking function across beverage operations. You will be responsible for establishing best practice stocktaking processes, overseeing POS and stock management systems, and delivering training and insights to improve operational performance and reduce stock loss.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement group-wide stocktaking policies, procedures and reporting frameworks

  • Lead independent stocktakes, audits and investigations into stock variances and loss

  • Oversee POS systems, database integrity and system upgrades

  • Deliver training programs and build capability across venue teams

  • Project manage POS and stock management system rollouts for new acquisitions

 

Candidate Profile

You are an experienced stocktaking professional with a strong background across multi-site hospitality, particularly pubs and bottle shops. You combine hands-on operational expertise with strong analytical capability and have a proven ability to improve stock accuracy, strengthen processes and influence stakeholders across the business.

Key attributes include:

  • Extensive experience leading stocktaking functions within multi-site hospitality

  • Strong knowledge of POS systems, stock control processes and reporting frameworks

  • Proven leadership capability, with experience mentoring teams

  • High attention to detail with strong analytical and reporting skills

  • Ability to manage projects, stakeholders and system implementations
