Job Description

Reporting to the senior leadership team, the 2IC Operations will play a critical role in the day-to-day management of the venue. This is a hands-on position requiring visibility on the floor, strong leadership capability and a proactive approach to operational excellence.

  • Support all daily operations across multiple departments including food, beverage and events

  • Lead, train and mentor front-line teams to deliver consistent service standards

  • Drive compliance across RSA, gaming and venue regulations

  • Assist with rostering, labour management and cost control

  • Act as the senior leader on shift, managing service flow and resolving issues in real time

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is an emerging or established hospitality leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to step into a broader operational role. You will bring a balance of floor leadership and commercial awareness.

  • Proven experience in a Duty Manager, Assistant Manager or 2IC role

  • Strong understanding of high-volume pub, club or multi-outlet operations

  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and build culture

  • Sound knowledge of compliance, licensing and venue procedures

  • Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities
