Job Description

The General Manager will take full operational responsibility for this high-volume regional pub, overseeing gaming, bar, and bistro operations while acting as the face of the business within the local community. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring a genuine publican who can balance commercial performance with strong customer connection.

  • Lead all day-to-day operations across gaming, bar, and bistro

  • Be the visible face of the venue, building relationships with locals and stakeholders

  • Drive financial performance and optimise all revenue streams

  • Ensure full compliance across gaming, liquor, and WHS regulations

  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team culture

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is an experienced hospitality professional who embodies the role of a true publican. You are community-focused, operationally strong, and confident leading from the front in a regional setting.

  • Proven experience as a General Manager or senior leader in a large-format pub

  • Strong background across gaming, bar, and bistro operations

  • Natural host with a visible, hands-on leadership style

  • Commercially astute with experience managing P&L performance

  • Willingness to relocate and immerse in a regional community
