This recently renovated, multi-faceted pub in Sydney's south west is a key venue within the portfolio and offers a strong platform for an experienced operator to make a significant impact.
Job Description
As General Manager, you will take complete ownership of the day-to-day operation and commercial performance of the venue. Working closely with senior management, you will lead the team, drive revenue and profitability, and ensure consistently high standards across all areas of the business.
- Take full ownership of venue P&L, budgets, forecasting and cost control
- Lead, develop and motivate a large, multi-disciplinary venue team
- Drive revenue growth across food, beverage, gaming, events and other venue operations
- Maintain strong operational standards, compliance and customer experience
- Identify commercial opportunities and implement initiatives that improve venue performance
Candidate Profile
This opportunity will suit an experienced hospitality leader with a strong commercial mindset and a proven track record managing complex, high-volume venues. You will be comfortable balancing people leadership, operational detail and financial performance while maintaining a visible presence on the floor.
- Proven experience leading a large or multi-faceted pub or hospitality venue
- Strong understanding of P&L management, labour, cost control and commercial drivers
- Demonstrated ability to build, lead and retain high-performing teams
- Strong operational standards and a hands-on leadership style
- Confident communicator with the ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders
