Job Description
The General Manager will take ownership of the day-to-day performance of this large and dynamic operation. Working closely with senior stakeholders, the successful candidate will lead a sizeable team, maintain strong operational standards and play a central role in developing the venue’s entertainment and customer engagement strategy.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading, motivating and developing a large, multidisciplinary venue team
- Driving revenue, profitability and operational performance across food, beverage and entertainment
- Developing and executing an engaging entertainment calendar
- Maintaining high standards of service, presentation, compliance and guest experience
- Building a positive, accountable and commercially focused workplace culture
Candidate Profile
This role will suit an experienced hospitality leader with a strong background in high-volume, multifaceted venues. The successful candidate will be commercially astute, highly visible in the operation and capable of balancing strategic planning with hands-on leadership.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Senior venue management experience within a high-volume hospitality or entertainment environment
- Proven success leading and developing large teams
- Strong commercial, financial and operational acumen
- Experience driving entertainment, events or customer engagement initiatives
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills
