Job Description
The General Manager will take full ownership of this premium restaurant, leading a large, established team and driving a service culture that is polished without being overly formal. This is a role for a confident operator who understands how to deliver high standards while maintaining a warm, engaging and personality-driven environment.
You will be highly present on the floor, building relationships with guests, leading from the front and ensuring the venue continues to perform across both service and commercial outcomes.
- Lead the venue end-to-end with full operational and commercial accountability
- Champion a service style that balances professionalism with personality
- Build strong relationships with both corporate clientele and local regulars
- Lead, develop and inspire a large front-of-house team
- Maintain high service standards while fostering an engaging, energetic atmosphere
- Oversee financial performance including labour, cost control and revenue optimisation
- Work closely with ownership and senior leadership to drive continued success
You are an experienced General Manager with a background in premium dining environments. You understand how to operate in affluent markets and are confident managing both corporate clientele and local regulars. Your leadership style is engaging and personable, and you naturally create an environment where both guests and teams feel comfortable and valued.
- Proven experience as a General Manager in premium or high-end restaurants
- Strong focus on guest experience and relationship building
- Ability to deliver high standards without a formal or overly rigid approach
- Confident leading large teams in fast-paced environments
- Commercially astute with strong operational discipline
