Job Description
Our client is an ideas-driven company that sets itself apart by being innovative, experimental, and unafraid to take risks. The Marketing Director builds and executes the marketing engine behind that ambition—planning and delivering campaigns across our venues, owning the channels that reach our community, and managing the content pipeline through your direct report, the Social Media Manager. You work hand-in-hand with the Brand Director: they set the brand direction; you make it land in market.

You are innovative, creative, and hard-working. You clearly understand the brand's content style and spot new opportunities and trends in the community. You know traditional and digital marketing—social, email, PR, and grassroots—and you measure what works. You are highly organized, manage a high volume of projects simultaneously, problem-solve quickly, work autonomously, and take direction. You're a team player, down to help wherever needed.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy
- Builds 30/60/90-day strategies and a yearly marketing calendar across all venues, holidays, and events
- Sets and delivers growth goals within budget
- Presents strategy/results at weekly leadership meetings and QBRs
- Finds new ways to grow the brand in existing and new markets
Content & Channels
- Manages the Social Media Manager — content calendar, briefs, shoot schedule (min. 2 shoots/month)
- Runs social, email/newsletter, web, and paid campaigns end-to-end
- Directs creation of campaign materials (flyers, emails, decks), keeping everything on-brand
Marketing Operations
- Tracks budgets, campaign performance, ROI, and channel metrics
- Reports KPIs weekly, monthly, and quarterly
- Manages incoming requests from across the business without dropping the ball
Public Relations
- Main point of contact for media inquiries
- Runs weekly calls with the PR agency
- Pitches newsworthy angles (brand, venues, menus, events, partnerships)
Cross-Team Collaboration
- Works with Food, Beverage, Merchandise, and venue teams on content and launches
- Supports the Brand Director's partnerships and events with marketing plans and assets
Qualifications
- Proven marketing leadership experience (hospitality, F&B, or lifestyle brands preferred)
- Strong grasp of social, email, paid, and PR — with a data-driven approach
- Working knowledge of design tools (e.g., InDesign) to brief/review the Social Media Manager (hands-on design isn't required — that's the SMM's job)
- Excellent project management across multiple campaigns and venues
