Job Description
The Director of Food & Beverage will serve as a key member of the club's leadership team, overseeing strategic planning, financial performance, member satisfaction, team development, and the continuous evolution of the club's food and beverage offerings.
Key Responsibilities
Member Experience & Hospitality Leadership

Champion a culture of exceptional hospitality and personalized member service throughout all food and beverage operations.

Build meaningful relationships with members, understanding preferences and anticipating needs to create memorable experiences.

Maintain a visible presence throughout club operations, engaging with members and supporting teams during service.

Ensure all dining experiences consistently reflect the club's standards, values, and service philosophy.
Operational Leadership

Oversee all food and beverage outlets, private dining, member events, catering functions, bars, lounges, and specialty concepts.

Develop and maintain operating standards, service procedures, and quality assurance programs.

Partner closely with culinary leadership to ensure alignment between food quality, service execution, and member expectations.

Continuously evaluate and improve service delivery, operational efficiency, and guest satisfaction.
Team Development & Culture

Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing food and beverage leadership team.

Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Create clear succession planning and development opportunities for future leaders.

Lead by example, serving as a coach and mentor while maintaining high standards of performance.
Financial & Business Performance

Develop and manage annual operating budgets, forecasts, and business plans.

Drive revenue growth while maintaining appropriate cost controls and operational efficiencies.

Monitor key performance indicators including labor management, beverage costs, food costs, member satisfaction, and profitability.

Identify opportunities for innovation, programming, and revenue enhancement.
Programming & Innovation

Collaborate with culinary and club leadership to develop unique dining experiences, member events, and seasonal programming.

Stay informed of emerging hospitality, culinary, beverage, and luxury lifestyle trends.

Continuously evolve offerings to ensure the club remains relevant, exciting, and differentiated.
Qualifications

8+ years of progressive food and beverage leadership experience within luxury hotels, private clubs, fine dining restaurants, or high-end hospitality environments.

Proven experience leading multiple food and beverage outlets and diverse service operations.

Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasting, and operational performance.

Demonstrated success developing teams and creating service-focused cultures.

Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and credibility with members, guests, and employees.

Strong understanding of luxury service standards and personalized hospitality.

Passion for food, beverage, service excellence, and creating exceptional experiences.
