Job Description

The Café Manager will oversee all aspects of daily operations, ensuring exceptional service standards, efficient workflow, and strong team performance. The successful candidate will be committed to fostering a welcoming culture while driving profitability and maintaining brand standards.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading, training, and motivating a team to deliver consistent, high-quality service

  • Managing rostering, inventory, and ordering to optimise efficiency and cost control

  • Ensuring compliance with food safety and workplace health and safety standards

  • Implementing marketing and promotional initiatives to boost revenue

  • Maintaining a strong presence on the floor to engage with customers and staff

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will bring proven leadership experience in a high-volume café or casual dining environment. They will possess exceptional communication and organisational skills, with a hands-on approach to management.
We are seeking:

  • Minimum 3 years' management experience in a busy hospitality venue

  • Strong operational knowledge and business acumen

  • Ability to inspire and lead a diverse team

  • Proven track record of delivering outstanding customer experiences

  • Flexibility to work across weekends and public holidays as required
