With a focus on quality, efficiency and team culture, the group continues to invest in its venues, including the recent refurbishment of this prominent Sydney CBD location. This venue is unique as it only currently operates Monday through Friday, with occasional functions on weekends.
Job Description

The Assistant Venue Manager will play a key role in supporting the Venue Manager in the day-to-day operations of a busy, multi-faceted venue. The role requires a hands-on leader who can confidently manage service across restaurant, bar and gaming, particularly during peak lunch and post-work periods.
  • Assist in overseeing daily operations across all areas of the venue
  • Lead, train and develop front-of-house teams to deliver high service standards
  • Ensure compliance across gaming, liquor licensing and workplace procedures
  • Support rostering, stock control and cost management
  • Maintain a strong presence on the floor during peak service times
Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will be an experienced hospitality professional with a background in high-volume venues. They will be confident managing multiple service streams and leading teams in a fast-paced CBD environment.
  • Experience in an Assistant Venue Manager or senior supervisory role
  • Strong understanding of gaming operations and compliance requirements
  • Proven ability to lead teams during high-pressure service periods
  • Solid organisational and communication skills
  • Professional presentation and a proactive, solutions-focused approach
