About the Role:

As the Assistant Restaurant Manager you will be responsible for leading the Front of House team to deliver superior customer service. You will support the Restaurant Manager in the day to day operation of the venue, and be responsible for a clearly defined set of tasks shared amongst the management team that will include rostering, stock control and a strong focus on staff training and development. 

You will;
  • Be a key member of the restaurant management team and work closely with the kitchen leadership team
  • Have experience as a hands-on leader who has the ability to influence a positive workplace culture
  • Utilise your premium service background to engage and lead your team to provide outstanding dining experiences
  • Oversee day to day operations including opening & closing the restaurant
  • Assist with stock takes and oversee ordering
  • Have experience in rostering and approving timesheets accordingly
  • Be influential in implementing processes and standards to ensure all front of house operations run effectively and seamlessly
  • Support the induction and training of front of house employees
Candidate Profile:

To be successful in this role you will have;
  • 2 years minimum experience in a managerial role in a similar premium restaurant
  • Experience as a leader in a fast-paced high standard environment, requiring professionalism under pressure
  • Strong operational knowledge that’s shared to inspire the team
  • Experience in budget management and cost control
  • Great personal presentation, good communication and time management skills
  • Ability to lead and develop a team
  • Strong food and wine knowledge
