A rare opportunity has been created for a strong, process-driven Assistant Venue Manager to apply a methodical approach to the continued evolution of the product.

Job Description

This role, behind the General Manager, is an integral link for running a smooth pub operation and your hard work won’t go unnoticed with the Group's directors.
As the Assistant Manager, you will be fully responsible for the management of a clearly defined set of tasks within the venue including Stock Control, Licensing Compliance, Venue Training Program with a strong focus on beverage list development and of course, general customer service.
  
The role will enable you to cover all aspects of the business in conjunction with the venue Department Heads and the Licensee. It represents your opportunity to elevate your career to the next level!

As Assistant  Manager you will;

• Be a key member of the restaurant management team
• Lead by example and motivating the restaurant team to be brilliant in every day
• Be creating and maintaining a safe, diverse and inclusive environment
• Assist in rostering ordering and the day to day running of the venue
• Uphold the company's processes and standards to ensure all operations run effectively and seamlessly
• Assist in the inducting and the training of front of house employees

Candidate Profile

To be considered for this role you will have;

• Experience as an Assistant Venue Manager or Supervisor in a large and dynamic venue 
• Strong operational knowledge that’s shared to inspire the team
• Experience in budget management and cost control
•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with professionalism
• Great personal presentation, good communication and time management skills
• A passion for the industry and desire to develop your career
• Ability to lead and develop a large team in a hands-on manner
• A highly structured and organised approach, managing multiple tasks simultaneously
• Full unrestricted working rights in Australia

This role is offering a strong remuneration package comprised of a generous base salary plus super, depending on the applicant’s experience.
