Its scale and diverse revenue streams create a dynamic and complex operating environment requiring experienced, commercially focused leadership.
Job Description
Reporting to the General Manager, the Assistant General Manager will take a leading role in the day-to-day management of this high-volume venue. This is a hands-on senior position with broad operational responsibility and significant involvement in team leadership, commercial performance, compliance and the overall guest experience.
Working closely with the General Manager and department leaders, you will:

Lead daily operations across food, beverage, entertainment and gaming

Coach, develop and provide direction to a large and diverse operational team

Drive service standards, labour performance, cost control and venue profitability

Maintain high standards across licensing, compliance, safety and responsible service

Support major trading periods, entertainment, events and ongoing operational improvements
Candidate Profile
You will be an experienced pub or hospitality operator who is comfortable working at scale. You understand the demands of a busy, multifaceted venue and can balance strong commercial outcomes with excellent hospitality, team engagement and operational discipline.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:

Proven management experience in a high-volume pub, hotel or comparable licensed venue

Strong food and beverage knowledge, with gaming and entertainment experience highly regarded

Experience leading and developing large operational teams and department managers

Strong commercial acumen across labour, COGS, revenue and operational controls

A confident, visible leadership style and genuine understanding of community-focused hospitality
