Job Description – Area Manager
Reporting to: Operations Manager / CEO
Employment Type: Full-Time
Award Coverage: Restaurant Industry Award 2020 (or as applicable)
Probation Period: 6 Months
Primary Objective
As the Area Manager at Wingboy, you will oversee multiple store locations, ensuring
consistent operational excellence, profitability, and staff development across your
venues. You will lead, mentor, and support Restaurant Managers to uphold Wingboy’s
high standards of service, food quality, and culture.
The ideal candidate demonstrates exceptional leadership, strong business acumen,
and experience managing multiple hospitality sites. You’ll drive performance, foster
accountability, and play a key role in Wingboy’s growth and success.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee daily operations across assigned Wingboy locations.
• Lead, coach, and support Restaurant Managers and kitchen leaders.
• Ensure consistency in food quality, service, and brand presentation.
• Monitor and improve financial performance, including labour costs, COGS, and
GP targets.
• Conduct regular site visits, audits, and compliance checks.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of management staff.
• Analyse performance data to identify trends and implement improvement plans.
• Manage stock control, ordering processes, and supplier relationships.
• Ensure WH&S, food safety, and Fair Work compliance across all stores.
• Drive community engagement, marketing initiatives, and local area promotions.
• Foster a positive, results-driven culture aligned with Wingboy values.

• Report regularly to senior management on store performance and team

Requirements
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in multi-site hospitality management.
• Valid NSW RSA and Food Safety Supervisor Certificates.
• Valid Australian work rights.
• Availability for flexible work hours, including weekends and public holidays.
• Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle.
• Commitment to upholding Wingboy’s operational and cultural standards.
